The success of Bike MS 2010 is directly related to the wonderful volunteers who help the event go off without a hitch. We welcome volunteers with a wide range of talents and skills. There is only one requirement: you must want to do something about MS NOW. To register to volunteer, please call 1.800.344.4867 MS and speak to the Bike MS Coordinator in your area about volunteer opportunities.
There are many jobs to choose from!
- Supply loading and unloading
Assist in loading, unloading and organizing event supplies
- Ham Radio
Provide communications to aid in safety of cyclists
(Must have own equipment. Amateur radio license and call letters required)
- Medical
Provide first aid and first response services under direction of safety coordinator
(Must be a NYS licensed EMT, nurse or doctor and provide copy of license)
- Mission Table
Help spread the word about MS and increase awareness
- Money Counter
Count money contributed, copy checks and prepare deposit slips
- Registration Table
Take collection envelopes from cyclists and make sure all information is completed
- Rest Stop
Welcome cyclists to the rest stop and pass out food and beverages
